Adam Craig Gilchrist, AM, otherwise known asGilly or “Churchy, is a former Australian cricketer. He was born on November 14, 1971 in Bellingen, Australia. Famous for being one of the most explosive batsmen in world cricket, he was chosen for the Australia Young Cricketers in the year 1991. Soon after, he became part of the Australian Cricket Academy which opened up great opportunities to him. It was during the 1992 and 1993 season when he made his first-class debut for New South Wales. Since then, his career in the chosen field became remarkable as he was seen on various cricket competitions with his teammates.
