April Michelle Bowlby is an American actress. She was born on July 30, 1980 in Vallejo, California. A student of East Union High School, she proceeded college at Moorpark College and focused on Marine Biology, French, and ballet dancing. Eventually, she worked as a model and started pursuing acting soon after. Her first screen appearance happened in the year 2004 when she was cast as Kaitlin Rackish in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Years after, she experienced her breakthrough when she was hired to play the role Kandi on Two and a Half Men from 2006 to 2012. Becoming more notorious in the industry, she earned another major role in 2007 which was on How I Met Your Mother, playing Meg for about four episodes. From 2009 to 2014, she was also able to impress the viewing crowd with her exceptional talent in acting by playing the role Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva.
As for fitness matters, April stays shape by moving her body through dancing. “I just started the most amazing ballet class and I am obsessed with it,” said April in an interview. “The first half is all about stretching out and warming up your muscles and the second half is at the barre. It has really helped with my posture.”
Other than dancing, she also loves jogging and hiking. She said, “I love jogging on the treadmill. Once you find a rhythm it’s easy to get into the zone. I also love hiking with my dog.”
During her interaction with Self, she showed her typical breakfast and apparently, her food choices are amazingly healthy. “This is my breakfast: Two poached eggs, turkey bacon, and a half avocado, she showed Self. “The yolks in a poached egg are alkalizing. Avocados are a great source of fat and vitamin E; great for your skin. It’s super light and not too heavy. Sometimes I like a little sweet as well, so I have a cup of plain yogurt with blueberries.
