Brian Urlacher is a former American football linebacker. He was born on May 25, 1978 in Pasco, Washington, United States. He is known for his 13-year career participation and contribution for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). It was in the year 2000 when he was selected by The Bears during the NFL draft. Gaining his momentum even while he was still a newbie, he earned the NFL Rookie of the Year Award also in the same year. Since then, he became a remarkable footballer.
In one of his interviews, Brian shared how he keeps his body fit and strong. Here’s what he revealed: “Well I’ve been playing a lot of golf. No, but really my training is a lot different now than when I was playing. For one thing I haven’t been lifting as much. When I do lift it’s not really with heavy weight. I do a lot of reps with less weight. I also run a lot more. I never used to run on the treadmill when I was playing and now I have one in both of my homes and run all the time. It’s weird now because if it came down to it and I had to choose between lifting and running, I’d choose running.
He also said that nutrition is an important aspect of his life. “Nutrition is a huge deal, he said. “If you eat bad food you’re body’s gonna give you bad results. You really do get out what you put in. I was always a big snacker and it was always really hard to find stuff that was actually healthy to eat. Oberto’s beef jerky is all-natural and a pretty big step up from what I would’ve been snacking on otherwise. It’s also great because you can take it with you– it’s great for being on the go. Wish I would’ve discovered it while I was still playing.
