Laura Benanti is an American actress that portrays on stage plays and television. She was born on July 15, 1979 in New York City to parents Linda Wonneberger and Martin Vidnovic. In 1998, she auditioned for the role Liesl on The Sound of Music but did not get the role because the producers thought that she looks a bit older for the role. She was instead hired to play as one of the nuns.
In 1999, she again portrayed a role on stage, particularly acting on the production Swing! where she made an impression and was able to bag home the Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical. In 2005, she started to appear on screen, playing a significant role on the TV sitcom Starved. Since then, she was regularly seen on screen.
Laura is known to be a person who gives importance to her health. She keeps an active lifestyle all the time. According to her, she usually spends 45 minutes a day working out. Her exercises usually consists of roll-ups and exercises that focus on strengthening her core. On the other hand, she is also known to be a 100% vegan.
