Mary Marg Helgenberger was born on November 16, 1958 in Fremont, Nebraska to parents Mary Kay Bolte and Hugh Helgenberger. She is an American actress who started her acting career in the year 1982, acting as Suzanne on the film Tootsie and played the role Siobhan Ryan on the TV series Ryan’s Hope. In 1988, she began to dominate the industry when she was cast as Karen Charlene Koloski on the TV series China Beach. She later on became a significant actress for being the character Catherine Willows on the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2001 to 2013. This year, she plays the role Lillian Strand on the TV series Intelligence.
When it comes to keeping her body fit, Marg sees to it that she’s moving her body through workout. She said in an interview, “I do work out, but not as much as I used to. I just don’t have the energy to do spin class, and then yoga and a night shoot. So I do power yoga and lift weights, hike and practice a little meditation.
In addition, Marg also relies on Freshology, a diet program where she only eats foods that are basically healthy and nutritious.
