Rand Paul, originally Randal Howard Paul, is an American politician and physician. He was born on January 7, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States to parents Carol Wells and Ron Paul. The husband of Kelley Paul, he is the father of Robert Paul and Duncan Paul and William Paul. He is a product of Baylor University. He is also a graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine. It was in the year 1993 when he started practicing ophthalmology in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Soon after, he was able to acquire his own clinic, particularly in the year 2007. Since 2011, he has served in the United States Senate as a member of the Republican Party representing Kentucky. These days, he stays prominent in the political world.
