Theresa Elizabeth Polo, famously known as Teri Polo, is an American actress born on June 1, 1969 in Dover, Delaware. She is the daughter of Jane Gentry and Vincent Polo. For about thirteen years, she learned and practiced ballet and was able to attend at New York’s School of American Ballet. When she turned 17, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in show business. She first came into view in 1986 when she appeared on the TV series Loving. Afterwards, she experienced her breakthrough by appearing on TV 101 from 1988 to 1989. Soon after, she appeared on TV series Northern Exposure, Brimstone, Sports Night, I’m with Her, The West Wing, Law & Order: LA, and many others. Presently, she is seen on The Fosters, acting the lead role Stef Adams Foster.

What about her diet? “You hit a certain age and you can’t lose weight anymore while eating the same foods. So I cut out all dairy, all sugar. I eat only protein, vegetables, natural fats and fruits at every meal, she explained.
