Thom Evans is a former Scottish international rugby union player and model. Born to parents Brian Evans and Sally Evans on April 2, 1985 in Harare, Zimbabwe, he last played on the wing for Glasgow Warriors in the Magners League. He is a product of Wellington College, Berkshire and a member of pop band Twen2y4Se7en. It was in the year 2012 when he started his athletic campaign competing in indoor competitions. He eventually finished fourth in the Scottish Senior Championships with a personal best of 7.20 for the 60m
During his interview with Mens Health UK, Thom shared his workout routine. He said, “When I was playing rugby for Scotland, it was all about who had the best maximum bench or squat. I could never really see the point. If you’re used to lifting slowly for bulk, lifting for speed means you’re shocking your muscles in an entirely different way.
Now what’s his say about his diet? “I tried the whole no-carbs things once, he shared. “I only lasted four days and I felt awful. It’s nonsense, frankly. If you’re training the way you should be for the sort of gains you want then you can get away with eating a lot of things that you technically shouldn’t. A lot of guys who don’t work hard enough or often enough get too caught up in it, especially some of the models I work with now.
